What LTS means here
- Security patches and critical bug fixes for supported releases.
- Backward compatibility: receipts are immutable; schema changes are additive.
- Signed Distribution: releases.json + registries.bundle.json signatures verified locally.
Update delivery
Manual updates by default. Auto-check is opt-in and must be explicit. Verify stays free and read-only.
